Lake Borumba Caravan & Camping Grounds covers over 10 hectares and is located around an hour inland from Noosa on the banks of Yabba Creek and about a kilometre from Lake Borumba. The lake offers lots of opportunities to canoe, kayak, sail, waterski and throw in a fishing line. The camping grounds are also surrounded by Imbil State Forest and Yabba State Forest, which offer extensive trail networks for those of all fitness levels. If you prefer the soothing sounds of nature, you’ll be happy to know there are no generators, no amplified music or whip cracking (yes, really) permitted. There is also a no-loud-noise policy after 9 pm.

  • Caravan sites: Unpowered and limited powered sites.
  • Facilities: Toilets, hot showers, outdoor camp kitchen, wastewater dump point, on-site kiosk (cash only), free kayaks, open fire pits (subject to fire bans), table tennis and a volleyball court.

Set in the tranquillity of a deer farm, there are animals galore here, including deer, but also pigs, and goats, and many can be hand-fed. There are also inflatable tubes, floating mats, and life jackets for hire. Or bring your own kayak or paddleboard for adventures on Yabba Creek.
